Ballast Nedam Industriebouw B.V. commissioned van Leeuwen, together with its foundation partners, to install some 1460 LEKA piles on a petrochemical site for a new installation in the Rotterdam Botlek area. These LEKA piles were installed under strict safety requirements and tightened rules. More than 39 km of steel tubes were drilled into the ground.
